One Saturday afternoon, Aykroyd phoned Suchiu requesting to proceed with an uncustomary but riveting – prototype project: A Blue Brothers motorcycle to be designed, a concept that Suchiu had mentioned to him many years before.
Suchiu got to work, composing what he perceived to be the two-wheeled remake of the Bluesmobile, decorated with symbols of their legacy – from crystal skulls to a police badge-odorned engine to Elwood’s famous briefcase.
Judy Belushi currently uses Suchiu’s’ composition of the Blues Mocycle as a blueprint for the never-before-seen Blues Brothers motorcycle project.
